ED665 is a high-end motion sensor designed for commercial security system. It also can be used as an occupancy sensor for automation systems. The product features dual-technology and multiple false detection filtering/prevention technologies to offer accurate motion detection. The product only sends alarm signal when human is detected, it’s immune to movement caused by pests, strong light, temperature changes.
Why Dual-technology?
Dual technology combines PIR detection and microwave detection together, hence improving the accuracy of detection and minimize false detection caused by non-human movement. In normal motion sensor it merely adopts single technology – Passive Infrared, PIR can offer good motion detection, however it’s sensitive to rapid temperature change, strong light interference and pests, as a result it may activates false alarms.
Microwave sensor can compensate the disadvantage of PIR, it offers good motion detection and it’s immune to temperature change and strong light. By combing PIR and microwave sensors together, the dual-tech motion sensors can enhance detection accuracy under variant environment.
How to use it?
it’s a dual-technology motion sensor designed for indoor application. The product should be mounted on the wall, it’s ideal to mount it on the corner of the room hence it covers the large space. The motion sensor can be connected to the wired zones of burglar alarm panels, and alarm inputs of NVRs/NVRs, Inputs of automation system.
ED695 includes a swivel wall mounted bracket. Users can readily adjust the angle to cover the protected area. ED695 has a removable cover design, installers can readily access the terminals and wire cables. ED695 terminals include Tamper, Alarm, GND and +12V. The Alarm output supports Normal Close (N.O.) and Normal Open (N.C.).
ED695 adopts double anti-tamper protection design, we can find one anti-tamper switch in rear and front separately. It will trigger alarm immediately when the product is dismantled or removeable cover is opened. It includes DIP switch, the DIP switch enables installer to choose appropriate wiring method.
