Synology surveillance station is a well-known component which includes in Synology NAS. It turns your NAS to be a professional network video recorder that stores CCTV footage in hard drives. Synology surveillance station accepts network cameras by using ONVIF or RTSP protocol. Unifore is pleased to recommend Yoosee smart doorbell cameras that work with Synology or Qnap NAS. The product not only supports remotely answer door anywhere anytime, it also supports video surveillance and recording. Comparing with other smart doorbell, our products offers up to 128GB memory card storage and 24/7 video recording to computer and NAS.

SD-M5 is the latest design 1080p smart doorbell based on Hisilicon SoC. The product employs 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor can capture crystal clear video. Including Infrared LED design, it sees clearly at night or under dim lighting environment. SD-M5 is an effective security camera, it has built-in microSD/TF memory card slot to support unlimited edge storage. It works without requirement of network or network video recorder. Since it’s compatible with RTSP and ONVIF protocol, it works with Hikvision/Dahua NVR, Synology or Qnap NAS. It even works with other security system such as access control, home automation system.

Comparing similar products from rivals, the product has a special hardware design; it accept power voltage input from DC9-36V/AC 8-24V, it can directly connect with your old doorbell chime transformer, hence upgrading your conventional doorbell system easily. It also has Wi-Fi design to provide wireless network connection, it includes a PoE injector, merely using one Ethernet cable, the product can operate. All these features make it become very easy to setup and install.

SD-M3 is another popular smart doorbell camera based on Yoosee/Gwell P2P technology. It also works with Synology surveillance station and Qnap NAS. Comparing with its predecessor, the doorbell has integrated access control function. It has built-in a RFID reader, users can swipe RFID tags to unlock any electronic lock locally. It has relay output design, can directly connect with any brand of electric lock. Users can use smartphone to remotely unlock door.

To add Yoosee smart doorbell camera to your network attached storage device is very easy, just enter the following parameter shown as below:
  • IP address: 192.168.1.10
  • Port number: 5000
  • Protocol: ONVIF
  • Username: admin
  • Password: <your RTSP password>
It should be noted that both smart doorbell and your NAS device should within the same local IP range, therefore NAS is able to communicate with the smart doorbell and establish the connection. You’re able to choose ONVIF or RTSP as the protocol, when choosing the ONVIF, the port number is 5000, when you select the “RTSP”, the port number is 554, when it asks path, you should enter onvif1. The password of your device is the RTSP password, you should not use the 123 or your app’s password. Before adding it to your NAS, ensuring you go to app and enable RTSP stream function. If you encounter error during the process, you may enter the RTSP url to VLC media player to check the availability of the stream. Yoosee smart doorbell’s RTSP stream url shown as below:
