Motion detection alarm with selectable area

Hello. Is there any way to add to the software motion detection alarm with selectable area? this is very important for the use of camera as security.

Hi friends
I have a problem with the motion (movement) detector.
In some light conditions, Cam is changing his mode (day / night) continuously, so the alarm is always on an catch a video per minute
How can I fix it?
Maybe disabling automatic IR mode changes? ... but setup has not the option.
There is an advanced setup using a browser by http://IP:port? an android app?

Sometimes motion detection does not trigger alarm. I have two cam`s, both working on 14.0.0.75, and the problem is the same. Unfortunately both of them do not have motion detection adjustment bar.
Therefore one of the cams is working on manual mode, but this fills quickly sd and it changes time, when it wants - dont know why? Other one occasionally does not detect movement...
Is there maybe some fix coming?

The App can not support this, but you can try iSpy, the iSpy software can allow users to select multiple motion detection regions.

My MD is also looking weird, occasionally not detecting cars passing by, with 3.6mm lens and 4 meters distance. And When it does, then 3 seconds later than movement detected.
Hopefully FW issue.

The most majority of users dislike this function (motion detection), because it's too sensitive. However, your situation is on the opposite.
There are possible solutions:
1. If your camera can pair with security sensors, you can use a PIR motion sensor (accurate detection and low false alarm rate).
2. Installing a complete intrusion alarm system which dedicated to intrusion detection by consisting of an fully programmable alarm panel and multiple security detectors.

Unfortunately my camera is not supporting motion detection sens. adjustment, neither it says no sensor is supported in the menu to add some extra equipment. I would not mind when some clips are recorded when there is no real movement. I Would like`d it to be in default little bit more sensitive, at night it triggers only by car lights, bu not people walking in front of camera. I have 3 cams, same models, all running on 14.0.0.75. Yes I can use "manual recording" mode, but all of my cameras are losing time after about 3 days of usage, it sets completely new random hours to it, not just couple of minutes. So, when there is no update for these errors I have to by new cameras

New camera, updated to last firmware last week.
Motion detection looks worthless:
- 3 out of 4 times it is not detected when I walk in front of the camera (only sometimes it detects).
- I get at least 10 recordings each day while nothing is moving.
