I have upgraded the firmware of my Yoosee Camera Model: YYZ2200-PAF to newer version 14.0.0.89 on 15/5/2018
Now the camera does not record videos on events and on motion sensing. Alarm recording has also been effected by the Arm/Disarm status. Before upgrading it was working fine.
Kindly guide me how can I fix this bug. Whether is there any way to downgrade its firmware to its original state?

Hi there,
I don't think firmware updating will cause this problem. Because we carefully tested firmware before releasing it.
You'd better double checking this.

To downgrade firmware, you can do following steps:
1. Download yoosee firmware file
e.g. https://shop.yooseecamera.com/firmware?product_id=132
2. Download IPCTestTool and Run it.
https://support.yooseecamera.com/threads/628/
3. Manually flush firmware by using IPCTestTool, don't disconnect network and power connection during firmware updating process.

Dear Sir/Mam
I am thankful on your quick response.
As regard the problem on upgrading, yes it has been happened with my cam as I have tested and checked it several times. Even, I have reset it but could not resolve the issue.
Further, I also could not get me out of the problem for two reasons;
1. Since I am from Pakistan and do not understand Chinese, therefore, the software IPCTestTool is beyond my understanding and usage.
2. The firmware file has a nominal price of $ 0.01 which is not a matter to pay for me but how can I pay that amount from Pakistan.
I was enjoying this product, but I am sad now, please help me out

1. You can find old firmware from other places (thread in this forum).
2. Download English version of IPCDebuggingTools.

Hi
In the previous version, I could set the camera to record video in case of motion detection, without any prompt or sending emails. Later I could checkout the events and see the recorded videos. (Motion detection: ON, Record mode: Record alarm, Defense: OFF)

After upgrading the firmware to 14.0.0.89, the camera records ONLY if the Defense is ON. It means recording video AND sending many emails on any motion detection!

I think the previous approach in recording video was better.

Thanks on response,
Which was its original firmware before the updated firmware of 14.0.0.89

No idea, as far as I know users are able to turn on/off defense (by tapping defense icon or using remote controls).

I didn't say I cannot turn on/off defense, I said motion detection recording is done ONLY if the defense is ON. In previous firmware version (which I don't remember the exact number, but was the last version before 14.0.0.89), I could set the motion detection to ON and Defense to OFF and record in the event of motion, without prompt and sending many warning emails.

Yes, the same problem is with my Cam. However, now I have downloaded the old version ie. 14.0.0.87 and also English version of IPC Debugging Tools but don't know how to connect camera with PC. Whether it is through WiFi or LAN or through CMS and how to proceed further. Any help please!

It seems that the cam has to be in the same network with the PC, run IPC and enter the ID and Password of the cam and click on Refresh List. If the cam was found, it should be appear in the list. Then select it and click on Upgrade, select the upgrade file and proceed.

I haven't done it myself, just speculation from the IPC simple interface! :)

But I don't think the downgrade and sticking to a buggy and old firmware is a good idea! I can see some minor improvements in new version.

Thanks for help. The new firmware has lost very important feature of event recording irrespect of arm/disarm

Thankyou for my assistance,
I have downgraded the firmware to 14.00.00.87 as per your guidelines. But unfortunately the issue of event recording without arm status has not been resolved.

Hello!
The same problem mentioned by Sajid happened to me.
I have upgraded the firmware of my Yoosee Camera to newer version 14.0.0.89 on 17/06/2018. Now the camera does not record videos on events and on motion sensing. Before upgrading it was working fine.
I have several cameras and I have upgraded them all. All of them had the same problem after upgrade.
I thought that with the downgrade the problem would be solved, but Sajid did it and did not solve it.
In manual mode it records, but the memory card becomes full fast, because it is recording in full time.
Who can help?

Did you check this thread ( https://support.yooseecamera.com/threads/355/ ) ?

Thank you to refer me some suggestions. But the problem with cam on its firmware upgrade is quite different. Before upgrade the camera was used to record a clip of 1 to 3 minute when some motion was detected. This way it was a very useful with reference to security point of view. But when I updated it to firmware 14.0.0.89, its feature went away.
Still waiting for help......

I have completely the same problem after upgrading firmware on camera Kerui N62. Or it could be the new Yosee app which does not support this?
I don't even remember, where this feature was enabled in app?

The motion detection recording was a great feature, is there any solution for this?

The new version of the application does not ring the doorbell function if the application is not open or if has not been open for 10 minutes previous to when the doorbell has been rung.
I suspect the new application logs out users so you limit connections on the server. This does not work for users that are using the application for video doorbells.
Have you responded to anyone's post about this bug since March which is the first time I see that it was posted, if so I have not found it?
The older version with the same settings in the application worked properly.
A doorbell that does not ring is not a doorbell!

I updated the firmware about 1.5 weeks ago and exactly since then, there is no recording on motion anymore.

Before, with some older firmware, I just had "Record settings: Record alarm", and "Alarm settings: Motion detection", then it recorded when motion occured.
Now with the same settings there is no more recording with motion.
Manual recording does work, so there is no basic recording issue (already tried a SD card format, etc).

Perhaps it would be better if a NEWER firmware comes out that just fixes this problem?
