This fire alarm is based on Photoelectric sensing principle, high sensitivity (0.16dB/m(±0.05dB/M)) ensure the sensor can detect the early smoke of a fire. Photoelectric-sensing technology may detect visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms.
