The new release does not send push notification and does not ring mobile app

Has anyone else had this problem with Android? Mine is a Samsung S7. Just installed the new app. All configured correctly, but the push notification does not work and the app won't recognize the doorbell press unless it is the active program. All settings checked and are set correctly. No internet security issues, and app has all permissions.

Any solution?????

This has been an ongoing problem for years!!!! I finally got 1 device to work but you cannot connect a 2nd. The 2nd can only be configured as a 'shared' device with the Master unit. Unfortunately, the only thing the 'shared' user can do is look out of the camera. Pretty useless.
