Hello!

I'm a beginner and desperate.
I would like to control an LED bulb lamp with a button.

Unfortunately the lamp selection only includes "On" and "Off" and not "Reverse" (like my plug).

But I want to turn the lamp on OR turn the lamp off when I click the button once (depending on whether the lamp is currently on or off).

That doesn't seem to be possible.

I couldn't manage it using automation either.

Thanks for help!

You need to write 2 automations with preconditions to do this.
One automation will be press button with precondition the the bulb is ON to turn the bulb off
And the 2nd automation will be press the button with a precondition that the bulb is OFF to turn the bulb on.

yes, I did that or tried it. Apparently it jumps back and forth in milliseconds every time I press the button. The lamp stays on and flickers slightly.
When selecting the status of the lamp, I can only do this under the heading "if it changes"

In short, I haven't been able to do it yet.

Unfortunately it doesn't work.

Or how can I say as a condition that it queries the existing status? I currently also have it under “When the device status changes”

Have you tried using the Preconditions section like I suggested.
