I have a problem with my Tuya app I cant seem to resolve. I am not even sure I am at the right forum but I am lost at what I can do. Hope someone can help or at least point me in the right direction.
I have a pretty simple setup (in my opinion): I have a wired ZigBee gateway connected to my home network and 5 TRV’s connected to the hub. I want to set each individual TRV to turn on and off independently throughout each day of the week depending on the when the room needs to be warmed up. In the Tuya app I have three scheduled options for the TRV – Mon-Sun, Mon-Fri and Sat-Sun and each day individually. By default Mon-Sun is selected and I can schedule this to be on and off at different times no problems. When I change that scenario to one of the other two options (weekdays and weekends or each day individually) I can set times the way I want them to be but a minute or two later if I go back into this setting in the app it is gone back to Mon-Sun schedule. I cannot make it stay in any of the other two options regardless of what I try to do. Saying that, if I manually switch to another type of schedule I can see that the times and temperatures I set before are the same. In other words the app did remember what I wanted it to do….
I have no idea how to approach that and make it work but the whole idea of changing my mechanical TRV’s with smart ones was to have more control at a fingertip and it turned out is more tedious and complicated at no benefit as I am warming empty rooms and staying in cold rooms during the weekend because the “standard” Mon-Sun schedule is not suited.
