Tuya Smart app no longer works with Tuya bluetooth cabinet lock

I have a Tuya bluetooth cabinet lock that I was using with the Tuya Smart app.

I found the app to be very unreliable but it did work at least some of the time.

However, since the latest update it no longer works at all on my phone. It won't connect to the lock anymore. I've tried deleting the device from the app but now I'm unable to re-add it. When trying to do so, I get a "Device Adding Timeout" message.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
