Hi, I recently purchased and installed the above mentioned smart doorbell camera. I'm having a couple issues and was wondering if you could help.

1. Cant set a static IP address using a wired connection and the CMS software or the android app. When I go to IPC Config then to network it says "network timeout." at the bottom of the screen and the set button remains shadow boxed after trying to manually enter a static IP address. It does receive a dynamic IP address via DHCP however I'm unable to access the camera by putting that IP address in a web browser using http or https.

2. Thought to try upgrading the firmware but I see several different version and I'm not sure which is the latest for the particular camera we have. I also noticed its not free which is very odd but I guess its only 10 cents. Do I need to purchase them all or will just the latest one and if so which is the latest one for our camera? When I try clicking the "Firmware update" button in the android app nothing happens. I'm running version 13.1.1.36. Also when I connect my phone to the device using the android app the CMS client on my PC stops working.

3. Blue Iris detects the camera however the video stream keeps erroring out. Tried as many combinations of ports and codecs as I could find each resulting in a different error. Downloaded and installed the android app and saw RTSP was turned off default. I tried turning that on with a password however this did not resolve the issue. Oddly enough the CMS software worked fine before this was enabled but stops working after adding the device to my phone using the android app. Is there a guide somewhere for setting this up or will the firmware update solve this as well? The NVR and camera are both on the same switch and LAN subnet. The most common error is "RTSP: 400 Bad Request"

Thanks,

  1. It's a bit tricky to modify the IP address of the smart video doorbell. Here it's my tip, firstly the smart video doorbell should be added to Yoosee app, therefore you're able to access its "Network" setting, then you're able to use the CMSClient software. When using the CMSClient software, you should login it by using your Yoosee account.
  2. If you failed to use the CMSClient, or the image showed a frowny face, it means the password was incorrect. You could modify the password by editing the device's property.
  3. Well, all firmware on our online shop is old version, they're provided to users who wish to roll back the firmware. The newest firmware will be pushed automatically through the app, when you're using the app and accessing its menu, it will tell you if there is a new firmware available for your device.
  4. It does support both iSpy and BlueIris software, here it's the discussion thread (https://support.tuyaoem.com/threads/272/)

In conclusion, all these problems are relevant to the password algorithm of the camera/app. Before the initial setup, the default password is 123, after you setup via the app, the app will automatically generate a random password to secure the connection. The users can't modify this password. However, you're able to enable the RTSP connection and modify this password (the password for local video streaming).
