Wifi setup without need of app

Hi.

Is there a way to configure the wifi without the use of the app? I'm not comfortable setting up an account on a server somewhere in the world and then entering my wifi key into it.

It is possible to access your router's settings without an Internet connection, but you will need a direct connection with the router. Although you can set up the connection with the router wirelessly, it is easier and more reliable to use an Ethernet cable in case you need to change any of the wireless settings.
