Recently Yoosee received some reports that their Yoosee Wi-Fi cameras had been hacked. Those hackers normally use default password 123 or weak password (e.g. 12345678/88888888) to access cameras. In order to secure your cameras, Yoosee embarked on resolving it in the beginning of this year, hence introduced the shared algorithm to secure your camera. However, there are still many Wi-Fi cameras use ID + password authorization mechanism, which will be vulnerable to hacking. In order to prevent your camera from being hacked, Yoosee highly recommends you to do a few things below:
  1. Upgrade App, reset the camera then set it up again and use shared function to avoid being hacked due to default password or weak password.
  2. If your camera can not use shared function, please modify default password or weak password, users should use a sophisticated password.

I want to change the camera password, but the option Safety setting (or Security setting) is missing from the camera settings menu.
I use Android app version 00.46.00.22 (00.46.00.21 has the same problem)
