Can't Connect Camera Smartlink If there is no internet

Okay so I have this kind of ip camera

I have two router the other one don't have internet when I connect to this router using smartlink the camera connected (I can see it on CMS even view it) but on yoosee app I can't connect to camera says "Connection timeout blah blah.....) even if I connect it on the app using wired connection I can see the camera but the same error. However if I connect to a router that has internet connection there is no problem, I can see and configure the camera even on CMS.

Why you maid this kind of system? I suspect the app will connect to a website that if that website is not available then connection error? now I can't use it to my remote area of my compound where internet connection is not available.

Don't tell me to use AP mode because the area I want to place it is way too far that P2P is the only option.

I can view my camera if I use another app "RTSP viewer" but the option is only to view the camera.

WHY WHY?!
tsk will you say that I just wasting my money buying 4 of this unit?
