We can either use the CMSClient software or the VLC media player.
1. Play the video via CMSClient software, go to [Playback] tab and then select the file you want to play.
2. Using the Gplayer, you can download the Gplayer.
3. Using the VLC media player https://www.unifore.net/ip-video-surveillance/how-to-play-264-video-files-from-ip-cameras-dvrs.html

Additionally, the CMSClient also provides convertion function (can convert the .av files to .mp4 files).
