1. After added network cameras to the NVR, the image would not automatically appear, users need to click the button to display the image.
2. We don't recommend users to config the NVR via its web interface, especially when firstly set the NVR. The NVR should connect with a monitor, then users locally set the NVR by using a mouse.
3. When firstly run the NVR locally, the NVR will pop-up a setup wizard, there is a Stream Type/Working Mode option, this allows you to choose the NVR's resolution mode.
The selected stream type's resolution should be equal or higher than the video stream resolution of your IP cameras. Otherwise the NVR will not display the image, and shows a video exception warning sign on the screen.
Go to [Setting] > [Device] > [Device info] > [Stream Type]
e.g. If you have 720p IP cameras and 1080P IP cameras, then you should choose "8x[1920*1080]+sub[720*576] + 1Ref + 1Play" in stream type option.
4. Please note if you access the NVR's web interface via DDNS (your domain name), you also need to do port forwarding/mapping for port 5050, not merely the web port 80.
The port 5050 is the video stream port, if it has not been done, then you will not be able to watch the video stream although you can access its web interface and config the NVR remotely.
5. NVR could discover the IP cameras, but could not display the image, it's unrelated to the channel's parameter settings. If the NVR could not discover IP cameras automatically, you can enter camera's information in channel's parameter to manually add the IP camera. If you encounter bad image quality, motion blur, video disruption problem, please go to camera's channel parameter settings, in "Network Type" option choosing "UDP", not the default "TCP/IP".
