I have several IP cameras that work with Yoosee Android App. However, some of the cameras easily play the Playback files, while others sit there with the spinning hourglass forever. My guess is that depending on my connection speed, distance to router, and amount of data being transferred it will either work or give up.
The worst part is that no matter how long I wait, on some cameras it never ever plays the selected Playback file. On other cameras that are either lower resolution or maybe closer to the router, they play fine.
Is there another way to access the Playback files, other than removing the card? For example...
- Attach a Windows laptop to the Ethernet port and use some software?
- Use something like IPCTest Tool? I can see the cameras with this tool but can't find Playback files. On CMS Client, I can see the page for Remote Record Files, but it always says Network Timeout within 5 seconds, like it tries but the gives up.
- A different Windows or Android App?
I have no problem with the fact that I am transferring a lot of data with a weak wifi signal, but there must be a way to eventually have the files viewable, even if it took a long time. Why does the Yoosee App or CMS Client give up so quickly and never play?
