FTP feature is a customized function, only CoT Pro Wi-Fi cameras can support this feature. If you use the Yoosee App, you will not find this setting. FTP, file transfer protocol, it's a common network protocol for file transferring. Please note using the FTP function, the camera only can upload recorded video files in SD/TF memory card to the FTP remote server. It can not upload real-time video clips to your remote server via FTP protocol.
1. Download and install CoT Pro App
2. Modify DNS record
No matter you want to bind your email address or set the FTP, users should use the CMSClient software to modify the camera's DNS record, making sure it has an valid DNS record e.g. 8.8.8.8
If the device doesn't have correct DNS record, it will not able to find then connect to the remote server.
3. Prepare your FTP account information, then access it via web browser to verify if the account info is correct.
4. Login CoT Pro App, enter camera's settings, click "FTP Setting", fill your FTP account info:
Server address: FTP server domain e.g. ftp.unifore.net
Port number: FTP port number, normally is 21
Server name: your FTP account name
Server password: your FTP account password
After fill the required information, click "Save", then turn ON "FTP function" on App.
After compete the above settings, the camera will start to the connection and will create a NPC folder in your FTP server, open the folder you will find a sub-folder with your camera's ID name.
