Hello,
My mom has bad hearing so I bought the Yoosee Smart Intercom/Doorbell HD Camera with RFID Access.
My intention was to link the doorbell to my smart hue lights and her smartwatch using IFTTT.
Problem is the push notifications from yoosee app are no 'real' push notifications on her android smartphone. The notification is more like an incoming call, and IFTTT does not recognize this as an incoming push notification. Due to this problem the notification cannot be linked trough IFTTT to her smartwatch and my smart hue lights or other smart devices.

Anyone have a solution for my problem?

@Yoosee App developers.

A possible solution could be:

1) add additional 'real' push notification when bell rings or alarm goes.
2) Try and get the yoosee app listed with IFTTT so that new scripts can be written for it. This would make the doorbell instantly a very smart doorbell ;)

I also created a IFTTT applet using the 'alarm email' feature. But email is too alert for visitor. 30 seconds between bell ring and flashing lights is too long

if you are technical you can solder a IoT device (raspberry pi) to a I/O pin and the switch button of the intercom. Maybe a second IO pin to the relay (to open/close the door).
From the Raspberry Pi you can create an IFTTT or better: MQTT server / broker.
I could get this to work. Before I start researching I have a quick question. Would your solution with the raspberry Pi and IFTTT sort of instantly?
Because I noticed IFTTT does not work that fast every time. Don't know what's the reason for this. Probably netwerk connection or the frequency IFTTT checks for inputs.
