Ambarella, the leading HD video solution provider proudly released the next generation System on Chip (SoC) model S3L, S3L is the lite version of existing S3 portfolio. Like the S3, S3L adopts the latest H.265 video compression technology to provide high efficient video encoding to provide smooth video streaming for high definition video. S3 can support 4K UHD video encoding, while the S3L supports up to 5 megapixel resolution video encoding with 30 frames per second speed.
Ambarella S3L enables IP camera manufacturers to develop cost effective H.265 IP cameras which offer 2MP, 3MP, 4MP, 5MP video resolution. Similar to other SoCs from Ambarella, the S3L comes with amazing HDR technology and 180 degree fish lens correction, WDR, 2D+3D digital noise reduction features, making the video surveillance cameras to deliver high definition video with vivid color reproduction image quality.
