MVPower network camera network error

I have been trying to set up my MVPower camera without success. I want to use as a wireless camera but could not get this to work, so instead have to tried to get this working via a direct connection to the router.

I use the setup procedure you give but get 'network error' - even though i have green flashing light and solid orange on the back of the camera. Also the version of the App on my Iphone does not have all of the functionality shown on the App store screen shot - i can't access network settings etc so cannot manually change/ check

When try to use the [Smart Link] to setup WiFi connection, users may reset the camera.
If the App shows [Network error], this means either the camera or your smartphone can't connect to Internet/network.

1. Making sure both devices (smartphone and network cameras) are in the same local network.
2. Alternatively, you can switch your smartphone's network from WiFi to 3G/4G to have a try.
 
Hi,
Had no problem setting the camera up using the App on my smartphone & my home WiFi network. I have great connection on both devices (camera & smartphone). However, after I leave the app for about 5 minutes then return, the camera is not connected. When I try to view the feed, it says 'connection timeout'.

Unplugging the camera & plugging it back in solves the problem initially, but then the same error occurs again and again. Anyway to fix this issue or do I need to return the camera?
 
Hi,
Have an MVPower and has been working fine with your required app. I recently added a second camera (same make different type - supports pan and tilt). The original camera now seems to struggle to communicate with the app.

Both cameras are connected via wifi. They both have updated firmware via your app. The streaming from the camera is very slow or timeouts very often.

How can this be resolved.
